Fred Noble reaching late stages of ALS, but still has time for big Meadows ski party
April 3, 2014
Fred Noble of Portland will again chair the Ski to Defeat ALS ski-a-thon at Mt. Hood Meadows. The third annual event on Saturday, April 12, is a major fundraiser for the ALS Association Oregon and SW Washington Chapter.
Noble has been fighting ALS, better known as Lou Gehrig’s disease, for more than three years. The degenerative nerve disease robs a person of body control. There is no cure.
