Capital Region Special Surgery WELCOMES Dr. Jason Arora to the Practice!

Dr. Jason Arora grew up in the suburbs of Philadelphia and subsequently obtained a B.S. in Pre-Medicine from Pennsylvania State University.  He then earned his medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Shortly after graduating, he began his internship at Christ Hospital where he obtained valuable experience in Cardiology, Emergency Medicine, and Intensive Care Unit.  He then went on to specialize in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at the Rusk Institute of New York University Medical Center where he excelled and became Floor Chief Resident at Bellevue Hospital and Local Chief Resident at Hospital for Joint Disease in New York City.

While at Rusk, Dr. Arora also  acquired valuable experience in the field of chronic pain.  His research was accepted by the American Pain Society and he presented his findings at their national conference.

Dr. Arora’s professional affiliations include the American Pain Society, the American Academy of Pain Medicine and Rehabilitation, International Spine Intervention Society, and the American Osteopathic Association.

In his spare time, Dr. Arora enjoys staying active with sports and traveling.  He has been all around the world and experienced many cultures.

Dr. Arora is enthusiastic about the opportunity to provide exceptional care to patients and to give back to the community. Dr. Arora’s mission is to provide compassionate, comprehensive, and innovative care to his patients in order for them to achieve a more enjoyable, and productive life.
