Amanda Altieri, PT, DPT, Cert. MDT
Amanda Altieri, an upstate New York native, achieved both her Bachelor (2010) and Doctoral (2012) degrees in physical therapy from Daemen College in Buffalo, NY. Amanda completed her doctoral thesis on the Effects of Speed on Walking Performance in Children with CP as assessed by the Standardized Walking Obstacle Course (SWOC). While in graduate school, Amanda began the certification process for the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy and is actively pursuing certification.
Amanda currently works as a full time physical therapist at a local hospital and works part time at Capital Region Physical Therapy. Although Amanda is a recent physical therapy graduate, her pursuit for professional growth makes her an excellent clinician and an ideal member of the Capital Region Physical Therapy team.
