Thank you to everyone who came out to run, walk, volunteer or cheer in the runners! The weather cooperated and while it was a little breezy and overcast, it was dry! And the temperature stayed at a manageable mid-50s.
Thank you to all of those who donated and fundraised to enable us to make this, our first year, a rousing success! We had 414 registrants and hit our projected goal of $50,000 with a little over that as you can see on our donation page.
Our first runner across the finish line was 42 year old Douglas Hough at 18:23 from Latham and Erin Corcoran, 35, from Schenectady was our first female finisher at 22:21.We are already planning on 2010! We hope you enjoyed the day. Please feel free to send any and all comments, suggestions, observations to raceforhope@capitalregionneurosurgery.com so we can make next year even better!
See you next Fall for the SECOND Annual Capital Region Special Surgery Race for Hope!
