Where should I mail donation checks?
All checks must be attached to a donation form and should be filled out completely.
Mail donations to the following address:
CRSS Race for Hope c/o St. Peter’s Hospital Foundation
319 S Manning Blvd # 309, Albany, New York 12208
 
Who should I make the check out to?
St. Peter’s Hospital Foundation
 
Is there a fundraising minimum requirement?
No. We do not require a fundraising minimum to participate. We ask for a suggested donation of $50 and there is no limit to how much you can raise.
 

Are donations tax deductible?
Yes, all donations are tax deductible.
 
Do all donors receive a receipt?
Yes. Anyone who donates online will automatically receive a receipt regardless of the amount. The correct email address must be provided to receive a receipt online. Those who donate $250 or more will receive a copy of the receipt in the mail. The correct mailing address must be attached to the donation form and/or check.
 
Can I bring my donations to the walk?
Absolutely but we do encourage you to mail or collect online all donations prior to the walk. Donations are processed in a timely manner.
 

Do you accept cash donations?
No. We do not accept cash donations, we strongly suggest you keep all cash donations and write a personal check or money order.
 

What can I do if a check is made out to me personally?

You may endorse the back of the check and mail it in with a completely filled out donation form.
 
Can I send one check to be split amongst several walkers?
Single checks cannot be split amongst multiple participants and are non-transferable.
 
What is a Matching Gift and how do I apply?
Lots of companies offer a Matching Gift Program. It means when an employee makes a contribution to a non-profit organization, the company will match the same donation amount or more. If your company doesn’t have a Matching Gift Program, contact your human resources department about establishing one.
 
A donor is requesting a Tax ID number, what is it and how do I get it?
All proceeds from this event will be directed to St. Peter’s Hospital Foundation and designated for use by the Cancer Center. St. Peter’s Hospital Foundation is the designated fund raising entity for all programs under the auspicious of St. Peter's Health Care Services. The foundation is recognized as a 501 (c)(3) tax exempt corporation with a Federal Tax ID number.
 
Many donors request this number to validate their donation as tax deductible.
